About Anaya Brown

Anaya Brown was born and raised in Houston TX, deeply inspired by her grandfather and supportive family. She has a mixed background in both traditional and digital work but is expected to graduate with a Bachelor’s in Studio Art: New Media. Games and animations always inspired her with great storytelling. Her grandfather, an art teacher, supported and guided her skills and talents. He also taught her a lot about black history and the power of being knowledgeable. She grew up as the eldest of her siblings with most of her family being women. She was raised to be limitless and to be a hustler in everything she does. Originally wanting to pursue a career as an illustrator and painter, she switched her concentration to new media following the growth of AI in her college years. Eventually, she learned how to transfer the themes of her traditional work to digital mediums while experimenting with different software. Now, she aspires to be a part of the creative processes of story-telling and visual effects of bringing fictional worlds into life.
